NEW ZEALAND. Aucklander Alex Cragg jetted off to Las Vegas this week with her husband, courtesy of Aer Rianta International’s The Loop Duty Free at Auckland Airport.
Ms Cragg was the winner of The Loop Duty Free’s Viva Las Vegas promotion, which was open to all customers who spent over NZ$100 (US$71) in store.
The grand prize included flights to Las Vegas, accommodation at the Palms Casino Resort and an in-store gift voucher.
Ms Cragg said: “I’m not a betting person but I feel like we have hit the jackpot with this competition. My husband is American so this gives us the chance to go and visit his family and the happiness is spread far and wide.”
The Loop Duty Free New Zealand General Manager Tom Byrne said: “Since we arrived in New Zealand last year, we have strived to set ourselves apart and create innovative ways to engage with customers to provide a memorable shopping experience.
