Annie Ramsay-South rejoins Scorpio Worldwide in business development role

Annie Ramsay-South (pictured) has rejoined Scorpio Worldwide as Business Development Consultant. The well-respected Ramsay-South has a long track record in travel retail, starting with Stena Line where she was Head Buyer for Perfume and Cosmetics, before moving to Harding Retail as Key Account Manager.

In 2007 Ramsay-South joined Scorpio Worldwide as Senior Buyer for Perfume and Cosmetics soon after Gebr Heinemann bought into the company, and was responsible for the introduction into the portfolio of houses such as L’Oréal Produits de Luxe, Clarins and Elizabeth Arden. She moved on in 2015 but rejoins now to oversee after business development across fragrances, cosmetics, skincare and fashion.

Scorpio CEO Stuart McGuire said: “I am delighted that Annie is back in the Scorpio family. She is a first-class operator with a proven track record of bringing innovation and excitement to the market. She has a gift with people, creating a positive and productive atmosphere, and fits in so well to our company values and ethos. Welcome back Annie! We missed you.”

Ramsay-South said: “I am delighted to rejoin Scorpio where I had happy and successful years growing the perfume and cosmetics business. In my new role I will be looking at many areas including new product development, new sales areas, skills training and brand management. I have always found Scorpio to be a special company and team, and I am looking forward to the new challenge immensely.”
