ANA responds to passenger trends with website and app launch

PORTUGAL. ANA Aeroportos de Portugal has launched a new website and app as part of a new digital strategy being introduced by parent VINCI Airports.

New functionalities range from lounge reservation, fast track and hotel options to an improvement to the parking reservation engine. ANA also noted that content would adapt to the passenger’s status (whether they are departing, arriving or on stopover) and that the desktop and mobile platforms would be integrated.

The new image and functionalities will debut at ANA’s airports in Portugal before being implemented in the other airport websites and apps in VINCI’s portfolio.

ANA said other features of the new website and app include: direct access to an airlines’ check-in, minimising the need to check several platforms; automatic airport detection in the app; consistent articulation between topics and intuitive access to content; and an update to the tone of voice to be more familiar and clear.

“[Our] investment in the digital environment combines a reading of the technological trends with a careful analysis of the needs of passengers, who favour quick and intuitive access to available information,” ANA stated.

The app is available for both Android and iOS.
