Platform for growth: Agatha Paris Global Head of Travel Retail Karan Tuli is confident of further footprints in travel retail following the Haikou Meilan opening

Agatha Paris will present its latest collections, including several travel retail exclusive sets, at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Golden Village G011).

The brand’s collections are divided into five themes: Iconic, Timeless, Modern Chic, Classy and Sparkle. New collections for 2016 include: African Art Deco, Grand Palais, Opera, Olympia and Bow, among others.

Agatha Paris Global Head of Travel Retail Karan Tuli noted the brand’s fast growth since its travel retail debut three years ago.

“2013 marked the launch of the brand in travel retail. However, we initially focused solely on inflight sales to gain exposure for the brand. We have expanded the network and now work with major operators and landlords,” he said.

Agatha Paris is present in 25 countries with 330 points of sale (domestic and travel retail) worldwide. It has listings with up to 30 airlines, with 14 ground shop locations in Asia (including Mainland China, The Philippines, Thailand, South Korea and Japan) and the Middle East. Business in Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore and Australia is “on the radar” for the coming months, Tuli added.

“Casual chic with a twist of Parisian style”: Agatha Paris will showcase its latest collections at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition

“Southeast Asia and China are seeing fast expansion and the potential for the brand to grow its travel retail footprint is more positive than ever. Costume jewellery is a tough category, but the spending trends recently have supported a positive outlook for us.”

Agatha Paris jewellery is described as “casual chic with a twist of Parisian style”. The brand showcased a range of stainless steel jewellery at this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in Singapore.

King Power Group Founder Antares Cheng acquired the Agatha Paris brand in 2006.
